AI Disclosure Statement

I started Fashion Elo solely as a blog in 2014 as a hobby. I took photos of the outfits I wore, posted them on the blog through blog posts. After receiving requests from several women about sharing outfit ideas, a year later, I also started creating capsule wardrobe guides and still create several each season, along with a few closet foundation capsules. Over the years many of you have reached out to me wanting me to model all the outfits. As a solo entrepreneur and exclusive creator of the blog, capsule wardrobes guides and social media content, I do not have the adequate funds to purchase all the clothing or the extra time to model the outfits.

With the recent advancement of AI and wide availability of AI tools, this past year I have been learning about how AI works, learning engineering of AI prompts and how it can aid my creative process. With the aid of AI, I am now able to show what my outfit creations look like styled on virtual models! AI has been a total gamechanger for Fashion Elo and has transformed how I design graphics for the blog, social media and the capsule wardrobe guides!

At Fashion Elo, transparency and authenticity are important to me. I want to clearly explain how artificial intelligence (AI) is used as part of my creative process.

AI Disclosure Statement

All outfit ideas, outfit concepts, and styling decisions featured on this website are created entirely by me. I personally select each clothing item, gather product images from retailers through various affiliate platforms, and thoughtfully assemble each outfit. I also design and create all outfit collages and graphics using my own graphic design process and personal aesthetic.

AI is used for one specific purpose: to help visually present the outfits on a model so readers can better envision how the outfit may look when worn. Using AI tools, I write detailed prompts that describe the model and background setting in order to create realistic visual representations of the styling concept. This allows readers to see the outfit in context and gain inspiration for how to wear and style the pieces in real life.

AI is used only as a visualization tool. It does not generate the outfit ideas, select the clothing pieces, or determine the styling. Every outfit concept, clothing selection, and overall creative direction originates from my personal styling expertise and creative vision.

Fashion Elo is committed to inclusivity and respectful representation. When creating AI-assisted model visuals, I strive to represent women in a way that reflects the diversity of American women. I do not practice discrimination and aim to include a variety of backgrounds, appearances, and sizes in a respectful and inclusive manner.

The purpose of using AI is simply to enhance visualization and provide additional inspiration, while maintaining the integrity, originality, and personal styling perspective that defines Fashion Elo.
