Chocolate brown is hot this color and we are seeing it everywhere! It has quickly become a popular color. When you pair it with an ivory long sleeve tee, a wardrobe staple, you can create many outfits! By adding different layers and shoes you will have endless looks to wear. In today’s post, I am showing how to add different layers and shoes to an ivory long sleeve tee and chocolate brown pants to create ten outfits. I am using this ivory long sleeve tee and these dark brown pants!

Chocolate Brown Pants
Chocolate brown pants are used in this post, but you can also use jeans or a skirt.
As another brown pants option, I have these Quince Ultra-Stretch Ponte Straight Leg Pants in โespressoโ and love them! I showed how they fit in this post, “Try-On Session Reviews: Styles In My Closet From Quince โ PART 2 (Sweaters, Cardigans, Pants” (Shopping links for my outfit is in the post). I’m wearing a Large, 28″ inseam in the pants (I’m 5’9″ and weight appox. 180 lbs.).

Ivory Tee
An ivory color long sleeve tee is used in this post, but you can also use a white tee and short sleeve tee.

I love the outfits and your creativity. Donโt have a favorite. But Iโm wondering how to cut down on the # of shoes and handbags. There are 10 of each shown, and I donโt have the budget to purchase all of them. Could you show the 2 most versatile shoes that work with all and the most versatile 1-2 handbags? Thanks.
Gayle,
Thank you for your comment! Since the pants are brown, one pair of the brown shoes (flats or boots) and one of the brown handbags will coordinate with all the outfits. Just pick your favorite and you’ll be good to go! ๐๐ค
I love these series – thank you so much!
I’m glad you like the series Karen! Have a wonderful day ๐๐
I love your outfits and I am trying to put similar looks with things I already have. I tried the dark chocolate pants, beige tee and black blazer. I felt the black and brown looked mismatched. Is there a color brown that goes with black or does a black blazer go with anything. Using your plan I have tried a red tee and a coral tee with my brown pants and a camel jacket. Is there any reason this doesn’t go?
Betty, try the brown pants, beige tee and camel jacket. That should work.
